Camp David: a policy doomed to failure

The book reveals the details of the origin, development and failure of one of the largest conspiracies in modern history, aimed at undermining the Arab national liberation movement and creating a balance of power in the Middle East favourable to US imperialism. The conspiracy was legally formalised as the US-Israeli-Egyptian deal at Camp David (September 1978). The authors analyse the content of the Camp David documents and the Egyptian-Israeli "peace" treaty concluded on their basis (March 1979); they give a detailed account of the struggle of the Arab peoples in defence of their legitimate rights and its support by the Soviet Union and all peace-loving forces. The work examines events in the "Middle East up to April 1982, when the Israeli occupation of the Sinai Peninsula was effectively replaced by the American occupation.
