The book is about the life of a woman who in the middle of the last century had a prominent role in political and social life of Argentina - one of the leading countries in Latin America. The fifth of the unlucky illegitimate children of a cattle farm owner and his servant became the wife of President Juan Domingo Peron. Meaning of her life, until the untimely death at age 33, was the organization of social policy, which was aimed at smoothing the conflict between labor and capital.

Having come at the highest level of power, without any official public office, she challenged the unjust society in its desire to correct social imbalances, to help the disadvantaged, limiting the appetite of the bourgeois-landowning oligarchy.

Maria Eva Duarte or simply Evita left a memorable mark not only in the history of their country, but also in the history of the world.
