This book is a memoir of one of the prominent diplomats of our country. Having started in 1956 as a translator, author was promoted to deputy minister of foreign affairs and continued to work as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary, a consultant on foreign policy issues the Russian Foreign Ministry.


Memoirs are made up of individual essays: the work at UN Protocol Department Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the USSR, work as Soviet ambassador in Tunis. The author tells curious and sometimes funny stories from his practice, giving his own assessment of the experienced events.
