Entered into force on February 1, 2002 Russian Labor Code significantly changed the relationship between workers and employers. The authors emphasize that the legislator has introduced a new model of legal regulation of labor relations, and offer comments on basic norms and institutions of labor laws that are necessary in practice at the conclusion and termination of employment contracts, the elaboration and adoption of collective agreements, resolving individual and collective labor disputes.

Of interest is the analysis of the problems of international labor law, international legal regulation of labor in the work of the International Labor Organization (ILO) and its relationship with the national legislation in the sphere of labor.

Authors use extensive documentary material and acquaint readers with the new provisions in the field of labor relations in the domestic and international law.

In the Appendix to the book are examples of procedural and civil procedural documents.  The book is intended for practitioners, scholars, professors of legal disciplines, graduate students, and all who wish to experience labor relations.
